Katie is a seasoned cybersecurity professional with over a decade of experience spanning information assurance, security controls assessments, risk management, compliance, and cyber threat intelligence. Her expertise extends across both public and private sectors, having worked with Fortune 500 companies, the Department of the Air Force, the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), and the Defense Cyber Crime Center (DC3) under the Department of Defense (DoD).

With a strong background in cybersecurity risk assessments and compliance frameworks, Katie offers a deep understanding of the threats facing defense contractor networks handling government data, along with the critical security controls required to safeguard them.

Katie holds a Master of Science in Cybersecurity from the University of Maryland Global Campus and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Maryland. She is also a certified expert in the field, holding prestigious credentials including Certified Information System Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified CMMC Professional (CCP), and Lead Certified CMMC Assessor (Lead CCA).
