Katie Dodson, CISSP, CISA, Lead CCA, CCP, President of Hive Systems Defense Solutions, contributed her CMMC assessment expertise to Sentinel Blue’s report, The CMMC Readiness Gap: What the Assessors Saw Before Phase II Was Paused.
Sentinel Blue spoke with assessors from five independent C3PAOs to get a firsthand look at what they are seeing during CMMC Level 2 assessments across the Defense Industrial Base (DIB). The report explores where organizations are struggling, from understanding CMMC requirements to documentation, evidence, GRC tools, and finding experienced support.
Katie shares Hive’s perspective on the importance of having the right expertise in place:
